On September 8, 2024, the Democratic Party of Georgia (DPG) historically voted to disavow Katy Stamper as the democratic candidate on the ballot. This does not remove her, as it is a Georgia state law that allowed her to run on the ticket. It does mean that the DPG supports the REAL Democrat, write-in candidate, Tracey Verhoeven.

January 6 and Lack of Accountability

On January 5th, he was seen giving a “not typical” tour of the Capitol, with some members of his group later participating in the insurrection.
